New to the area

Hey All,

Just moved out here in Beaverton from Boise, and am looking for some Mazda folks to go to PIR this year with (never been there, and don't really know anyone in this state). Kinda new to the road racing thing, but have put alot of money into prepping a 03' MP5. I hate the fact I can't really work on my car here, due to the fact that my tools are all in Idaho, and I'm here attending school until August. :(

So I had a really good bunch of guys work on it up in Vancouver. Dunno if they wanna take credit for it or not (its now just getting finished), but their sticker is on the back either way. lol :D

I hate typing out that damn mod list, due to thats being the first question asked to me, so I just put it down below. And beside PIR stuff, if anyone knows any good fun for car guys on the weekend, send me a PM.

See ya.

A good track day is coming up on Sunday March 5th with the Alfa Romero club. There will be at least a rx7 fc and fd that both are really fast and a rx8 thats not to bad either plus I'll be out there in my 3 hb.First time out they suggest you run in the novice class with a instructor which helps most of the time .Here's a link to the PIR page http://www.portlandraceway.com/ and a link to the Alfa registration page http://www.alfaclub.org/PIR Track Day Pre-registration.htm .Come on out it should be a blast nad the track is pretty fun also

I should be at the Alfa track day, I have run with them for several years, nice club. it depends on the autocross schedule (if they ever come out with it.) I also run with Team Continental and the Lotus Club. My Brother has a Mazda 3 sedan that he may bring out, he has been running his Toyota at track days, but the 3 in autocross.

Welcome to beaverton, honk if you see me around town i'm in the spicy orange msp.

Welcome to the area! I'm not sure if I'm gonna have the time, but I'll definately try and make it down to that track day on the 5th.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. FYI, Precision Paint didn't get my car done today like I was hoping, but said I could have it back on monday. Then on tuesday I'm hoping to get the new 21.5mm sway bar and end links installed I had delivered today! If anyone has a covered parking area I could borrow for an hour around here, that would kick butt. If not, I'll be payin CS for their time ;)

Youll have to pardon the darkness, but this is the first pic of my car. Granted, it was dark out, but I'm going cruisin today to get good pics done. :D
