lol hes not too popular around here
dsmgonemsp i think you got a bad ass attitude haha....hell, it may be because of where i live, or what i drove before, but every night after i come home for some fun comeptitive action i kiss my steering wheel, pet my shifter and congratulate my car on some nice runs...
yea i did just get my ass kicked by a imported MR2 running 20 lb of PSI and a kick ass top end. but hey, my car kicked his ass off the line haha....i find victory in the small things, id love to see that MR2 vs me in autocross when my stock suspension would kicks his ass. for the price you can buy MSP and the fact they were the first speeds around, 11 second daily driven isnt bad IMO. my freind has a fair lady that runs 9.5 atm, and it takes him ALOT of work to keep that thing purring every day on the streets, its getting to the point where small s*** like small sprinkles of sand are getting lodged into his vents and crap and causing hassles, hes looking at getting a daily driven car now. hell if your looking for a 6-9 second car, you basically build a custom ride and drop it into a shell, cause nothing stock in a decent price range will go that fast.
so doesnt it then become a debate on which engine setup is faster and not what body its in, and not a MSP vs other car debate?
hell for what i paid for my MSP im more then happy, i live in a citywhere if you got a fuel managment system your ownage on the streets, never mind forged...now if you live in a racing hot spot, then i can see how you could not happy with the MSP performance. but in the future id love to challenge that 11 second handicap. where theres a will theres a way, if i have to drop anotehr engine/drive train in there to get it under 11 seconds i will haha.
but for me, the gasps and drooling from other tuners is what makes me happiest, even if im not the fastest ride on the streets, the MSP has a certain addictive charm to it
just my 2 cents
