Got the car dynoed for the first time today... made 284.3 whp and 249 wtq.

The car's IAT was messed up and the car was pulling timing like a biatch around 5000 rpms, maybe due to the IAT being messed up, or the stock knock sensor...

Anyways, at idle the car was reading -9.5 degrees timing, and i thought that was pretty odd...

anyways, heres the pic, and it is in SAE corrected HP, so Beau is gonna transfer it for me to STD correction...

Now i need to get rid of my maf and control the timing... emanage, AEM, or Hydra... not sure yet...

oh and it was running 11.1 afrs all the way across as well... the extra inj. setup worked like a beauty!

do you have a video of the pull.... that would be cool to see your car putting down those numbers....nice, very nice.......

it says flywheel horsepower, but it reads less than a dynojet. i figured i would crop it so that there wouldnt be a big fuss again...it is whp, i have another friend's car's dyno to back it up.

my buddy with the srt-4 stage 1 with map clamp and exhaust made 270 whp on a dynojet just a few days ago, and we raced again yesterday and it was dead even for me at 13 psi.

dont worry, heh, its fast lol.

Yeah, I thought that dynapacks did flywheel numbers? Or I know it's at least an option. Those numbers are pretty damn high for 13psi especially considering that turbo's eff. range on a 2.0l.

I am curious what the top of that page looks like as well.

Reading on the evo boards and the Sti boards they seem to think that the dynapacks run higher.

Actually Dynapacks read about 5-12% higher that a Dynojet. And the usally read erroneous numbers on Torque.

I am curious why would it say flywheel when it meant Wheel hp?

Better update your sig!
Keep up the good work.

Beau dynoed this kit at 11 psi and made 250 whp on his dynojet. I am running 2 psi more, and my IAT sensor was all whacky (thus the limpness of my timing retard in the 4500-5250 rpm range...) i would have made = WTQ if my IAT wasnt acting up....

i am running 2 more psi than beau did, and i just raced another srt-4 that made 270 whp and 300 wtq on a dynojet and we were dead even.

I have no doubt in my mind that the dynapak may read a tad higher, but why would the owner tell me otherwise? Just last week, an 04 evo with cams, downpipe, exhaust, cam gears, hard piping etc.. made 315 whp on the same dyno... that seemed about right to me..

i dont know for sure, i guess the only way to know is to see what i trap at the track.

Can you explain your extra injector setup? Unless you have a thread up already?

Very nice car by the way.

Thanks.

Sounds like its time for a track day! lol.

Ha, just found this thread. Awesome numbers, although I don't care about that as much as it being fast as a mo-fo on the street!

Nice numbers Bryan. I am waiting on the Dyno file from another one of our customers in CA that layed down 487whp runing our Thumper kit. He has our Billet shortblock, Thumper turbo kit with a GT35R,96lbs injectors,Stage 3 fuel system and AEM.He made 487whp at 25psi. He has ALOT of money wrapped up in it.Par gears, Quaife LSD,Custom made clutch, axles, etc.
Your number look pretty good. We are doing the motor swap on ddogg777 car and will be dynoing his Thumper kit in the coming weeks.
Needless to say, everyone likes the Thumper kit and it's power.

My god. That thing must be useless at the track unless running some serious slicks.

I think he's planning on slicking it down and making a pass down the 1/4 mile.
Let's face it though, front wheel drive cars are not designed for 1/4 mile.

lol. I hear you there.

With that kind of horsepower he should be able to wait till 4th to gun it and still run a good time. With the right traction he could be trapping 130mph and be mid 10's! Thats insane.
