New style of CX-5 LED tails

I just came across these (and I searched on here first) and haven't seen them posted anywhere... I was wondering if anyone had these and what they actually looked like on the car..

Not bad at all. Are all these aftermarket LED tail light assembly just a straight swap from the OEM halogen assemblies?

I would still like to know if anyone can source the 2016 OEM LED tail lights which look awesome IMO.

I tend to avoid the light mods requiring resistors in the light circuit. Not sure if this one is plug and play... install doc goes nowhere.

EDIT: I emailed vendor about install doc

Mine don't the circuitry is built in. I'm going to assume it's the same here. Not sure what that box is; it may be a circuit for brightening the tails when the brake is pushed.

Actually saw another photo on this online somewhere when actually fitted to the car. It looks too much like the Hyundai ix35 SUV tail lights, especially the white/clear Reverse reflectors therefore I don't quite like it.

Not really enthralled with the night look, curious about how they look during the day, and off. Oh for the record, those sonar LED's look orange on video, but are a nice vibrant red IRL. In fact mine are birther than the OEM brake lights when I brake.

Thanks. I saw the turbocharged mazda5 at an autox this weekend (didn't know that was a texas car) and he had among the lowest times. Once I get my suspension sorted I'm going to join the novice cup.
