New Shift Knob Arrived Today

This is a custom made illuminated Mazdaspeed shift knob. It weighs the same as stock, and is almost the same height. It is just a touch smaller. Anyways on to the pics:

Does it just glow, is it battery powered or wired, and where did you get it?

It's powered from a 12V source in the car. It has red LEDs in it, and they can be changed to a different color if you want. It glows very bright, and has a nice fade out when the car shuts off.

I can't take credit for finding it, but another member from the other forums bought one first. He contacted an Ebay seller from Poland who custom makes shift knobs for other vehicles and had him make this one up.

He speaks very broken English but if you mention the Mazdaspeed shift knob he will know what you are talking about. It took about 2 weeks to get it here in Canada which was faster than expected for a custom made piece coming from Poland.

It does use set screws though. So some might be turned off by that.

It does use set screws though. So some might be turned off by that.

Looks awesome but the set screws are definitely a deal breaker. Be prepared to keep a couple of allen keys in the car.
