Hello all - been lurking here for awhile and figured I'd say hi. I've gathered lots of good info here and laughed my ass off at some of the off-topic stuff.
Picked up our Laser Blue Mica Pro5 last October and it's been a blast ever since. 2100 on the odo so far.
Been an Mazda guy all my life. Previous rides-
'81 GLC - great first. if it hadn't rusted out, that motor would still be running
'89 626 Turbo 5-door - man, I miss that car. Traded for a freakin '96 Windstar :mad:
'91 Merc Capri XR2 turbo (Mazda guts) - dead for now, needs battery and radiator/hoses
and now the 2003.5 Pro5. I love the everything about it. Not the speediest thing in the world, but enough zoom-zoom for my daily grind. I even like the stock stereo w/ sub. Exterior looks hot, even stock. I get a lot of compliments and turned heads. But y'all already know that. It's nice to be in something other than a gargantuan SUV. My neighbors just got an Excursion and still think it's not roomy enough :wtf: We have no problems getting the kids and some gear around.
No mods planned here, as my mortgage, wife, and kids (3) pretty much suck the money and life right out of me (but I did remove the dealer pinstriping for a 5whp gain)
