Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself and my P5. My name is Sunny and I just picked up a 2003.5 P5 about a week ago. I got the black Mica from Signature Mazda with 5sp, sunroof and a/c.
So far I have added 17" Konig Monsoons and a Ractive Intake. The Konigs were off my old car which was a VW Jetta VR6. I was glad the wheels had the dual bolt pattern so they fit both the 5x100 pattern for the dub and 5x114.5 for the P5.
The P5 is awesome but I do miss the "growl" of the VR6. Oh well, I can get around that with a new exhaust.
Future plans include....
- Eibach springs
- Mp3 Player, amps and subs
- Racing Beat or other exhaust (still researching which one)
- x-drilled Brembos (front and rear)
- chip (although I don't know who makes one for this car)
I'm still a Vdub guy though
but decided to trade the VR6 for the P5 in order to satisfy my wife's needs for the moment. I'll be getting the new 6-speed VR6 next year and I still have a 79 Rabbit to play with. For those that want to check out my old VR, you can cruise to ...

That being said, I enjoy the P5 a lot and get a smile every time I score the keys from my wife
...This thing is a hoot to drive. It already handles better out of the box than the Jetta did. I had to spend $$$$ to get it to handle as well as the P5 with no mods...
I can't wait to see what it'll do with the Eibach's...
