Hi all....I just purchased my red '02 P5 today. Pulled in the driveway about 4:30est and my daughter was giving me the thumbs up! (thumb) I will get some pics posted later this week.

A liitle history, I am the second owner and she's got 67k on the odometer. Going to be my commuter car (about 50 miles round trip). Looking very forward to getting her back out on the highway. (yes)

I have been a fan of these cars since they came out in '02 and finally have one in my driveway. My first impressions are great to drive (open highway & twisties), and I love the layout inside, everything is in perfect reach and the fit and finish are done very nicely.

Looking forward to more P5 discussions with everyone!!!

Welcome....So you get a 5-speed or auto???? Do you have the roof rack, just wondering cause it will kill your mpg on the highway...I took mine off and have loved the better highway miles....Anyway....I've had mine since 02 and have grown even more in love with her since I found this site...but be careful, the habit is hard to break...Props to your daughter for diggin a nice ride (thumb)

Welcome!!! I have an '02 also, and have learned a ton about it in the last year that I've had it... let me know if I can help at all. Mine is a silver automatic (ugh!) with ABS, side airbags, and moonroof options. Basically, loaded for the initial '02 offering.

Horray for more 02's! Not that there's a big difference or anything, it just seems most people have 02.5's and up. Who needs another set of side markers and open cupholders anyway (thumb) .

Anyway, welcome to the forum. Lots of information here, you'll learn a ton if you look hard enough, but be warned, use the search function before asking  .

Our cup holders might work for crap, but they look WAY nicer! Besides, we have the original!

old and busted...new hotness (glare)

Kidding. Seriously tho, welcome to the forum! And do ur P5 a favor. Toss 'er around an auto-x course from time to time. They like that (thumb)

Welcome to the P5 owners. I got mine earlier this year and love it to death. I'm going to drive this car into the ground. I use it not only for my daily car but also for Auto-x and it performs great for both.

geeze there has been of newbies lately!! welcome to forum!!

tip: this site is a great place for info...most questions have been asked already, so do yourself a favor and use the search tool before you ask questions. usually you'll find the answers you were looking for and save yourself from being flamed about asking a question that's been answered a billion times over.

welcome to the forum and enjoy the car. be careful with modding....it's addictive!! and expensive!!

Of course! Our babies are going to become, if they hav'nt already become, cult classics. They're unique in their stlyle, handle and brake great, and can be fun to mod. Definately not cookie-cutter like Hondas and alot of the others. Viva zoom-zoom!

welcome to the forums. i got an 02 red p5 myself. all stock, but still a fun car to drive..just wish it was a 5 speed *grrrr* but i still enjoy it

Had an 03 & 02 together; a.k.a. the twins... but the 02 was the one that we kept when we bought our truck. It was the better of the two - and it's a 5 speed.
Welcome to the forum. (hi)
