New OEM Upper Front Strut Mounts look diff than ones on stock MSP!

If you pop the hood and view the strut top, you can stick you finger into the "rubber" area about a 1/2 inch or more on my stock MSP. The ones I just picked up from the dealer APPEAR to have the rubber inserted upside down (flipped over). The 1/2 inch deep side is on the bottom assuming the 4 studs and the "white paint dot" go upward! I was supposed to install this stuff on Thursday but now i'm lost.

Has anyone replaced their OEM Upper Strut Mounts that can give me some info? Anyone with the original stock setup, please let me know if your mount resembles mine.

After waiting for a week, the dealer ordered the wrong ones, so the wait continues......

Oh I get it now, its the rule of threes.
1. Wrong Strut mount ordered by Mazda Dealer.
2. Bought 2 coils, one is bad and through a CEL.
3. Bought a Right Caliper on the I-Net, they sent the left.

All in one day! F - IT!!!

that sucks man. i had something like that happen. right as i was about to go 1.8 coil swap my 2.0 coils went out. i had to go buy new ones. $50 which i could have finished getting the stuff for my 1.8 coils
