New MSP Short-Ram Intake

hmm I don't have any idea what that is but that's ok. Point is it's not JUST a small short tube for 235.

We don't need to get into it but I still can't see how a SRI is better than an Ingen say. Replacing that plastic tube coming from the turbo has to be a plus.

Also...does ne1 have a non-flash picture of the bosch bpv(cant see flash pics at work because of network firewall)??

Sounds cool!

I'm in on this, as long as it doesn't turn into a "high strung motorsports" intake / axel back exhaust ... Would prefer black, but thats my only preference.

im in on this 2...just one question b4 i hand out my credit card number lol...if i get the ion performance true fmic or a greddy, drag or whatever true fmic...will the sri with heat shield fit? if it will then im all in...

got me a settlement check in from a nasty wreck and im droppin cash...i wanna c low 13's! and a badazz time in autox

so insidious, any news about this, its been awhile since any news..................

I think I'm out of this. We've been waiting forever now with very little communication. I don't need the Bosch DV anymore because I am testing out new stuff for Forge & hopefully they will make an intake for us (I'm pushing for SRI).

Not that it means anything, but has anyone noticed that everytime we look for an update on this, the response is, <paraphrase> "Sorry we are working on projects for cars much more expensive than yours. Just give us a couple more weeks." </paraphrase>.

Just not feeling the love here...

Notice how the post your refferring to suddenly dissapeared. :D

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND INFORMATIONAL PROVIDING THERE SLAPPY

:D

For the record, I'm not involved with any Billet Design development, so when I make references to other projects being first priority, I'm just letting you know things are busy. :) Secondly, when I first posted about the intake in August, only one or two people were interested in a short-ram intake and a big debate arose over CAI vs SRI, so it was put on hold. Now suddenly everyone wants a SRI. :) I can assure you the MSP intake is not forgotten, but at the request of some members, a heatshield needs to be made, so I will find out when Billet is done with that and let you guys know.

Was at Billet today, this is gonna happen real soon. Heatshield and all. Just need to finalize my vendor status here.

having a short ram is not that great because it sucks in all the heat from the engine. i would prefer a cold air intake the more cold air the more power. with the short ram it sucks in all the warm air from the engine so its not good. thats what my auto teacher told me

Wow, that looks great. So you would not recommend a CAI from Injen for the MSP?
