New MS3 owner

Hi Everyone. I just picked up an 09 MS3 on monday. Its a metropolitan grey GT with 14k on the clock. The mods that came with it are cp-e intake, cp-e downpipe and forge BOV.

Is there a way to tell if its been tuned w/o having to buy a tuner? I purchased it from a dealer and not directly from the original owner they could not tell me if it was done or not.

Chances are it's NOT....cuz even if it did when the dealer hooks up diagnostics to the OBD2 everything gets wiped out and back to stock...atleast I know thats what happens with the HT tune..

just get a Cobb AP you gonna need it any ways with your DP and intake chances are you could be running lean, my recommendation is dont get on the throttle too hard until you have a way to monitor your engine

too late for that (boom06)! I feel like its running rich though. I have no proof of that but the tailpipe seems more sooty than it should be.

I just picked up a the HT on the cheap. The cobb is out of my budget. It is my DD I had no plans to mod it but since it came that was i wasn't gonna argue.

Still recommend a Dash hawk. Mine is all factory and the tail is sooty

Not uncommon for turbo cars.

Hypertech + Dash hawk or dash Hawk over Hypertech. Sorry I am new to all this (only had ODB I cars)

Car runs rich from factory, just so you know.
