Hey guys, just picked up a 2008 true red GT yesterday, and coming from a Passat, this car has amazing pickup. Very exciting car to drive, and I know that I will burn all my money on this thing.

Welcome! In those pics, it almost seems as if your wheels are staggered like RWD cars :)

Heck that background looks like the Lincoln Park Golf Course in SF , Ca overlooking the GG bridge--between the 17th and 18th tees

the "flying M" centercaps aren't upright, and the driver's sun visor, piece of paper on the dash, and that light in the background are unbecoming of the overall picture

im a dick, welcome

Nice! First mod I would do is MS CAI. Doesn't void warranty. Adds a lot of power, plus it sounds awesome!

As long as it was installed by a certified mazdaspeed tech at time of purchase but it still doesn’t protect against hydrolock. You can get a short ram intake for the price, a lot easier and faster to install / uninstall, easier maintenance, same power gains, no worries of hydrolock and even louder than a CAI if that’s what you’re into.

Seriously? I'd have to see some dyno charts to buy into that one. Wouldn't a SRI heatsoak like crazy? I know the K&N shows something like 25hp gains, but that also comes with a heat shield.

It's at a course down here in San Diego

I actually just ordered an aem intake, we'll see how it treats me. I will probably be ordering some hotchkis swaybars soon.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the MS3. Hopefully you don't have any issues with it. :)
