I've been lurking on here for about a year and decided to finally join. I'm taking delivery of a 2003.5 red P5 tomorrow. Really wanted laser blue but got tired of trying to find one. Trading in my at one time modded 2001 Focus.

E-spec Focus R/S Edition side skirts
E-spec Focus ST170 headlights
E-spec upper and lower grills

Interior:
NR Auto white face gauges
OBX/KKM pedals

Plans were in the works for a Vortec supercharger, full Prothane bushing kit and new sway bars next year but obviously that is out now.

Hey guys, did not want to start a new thread to introduce myself so I'll jump on this one. My wife and I just purchased a 2003 Vivid Yellow MP5. We are very excited to have the new car and look forward to modding it with the help of this great forum.
 
I personally like the e-spec grilles and headlights on the focus. It eliminates the ugly ambers in the grille!
 
hey not to thread jack, but can i see a farther away pic with your CF hood when you pick up your digicam?
 
i can take any pics you want, (your sig reminded me) i need to either get a header or find someone that has one or a turbo, one of my exhaust manifold heat shield bolts came out going down the road i guess, i need to replace it before nopi.Its right on top in plain sight too, its UGLY. Im gonna go to the parts store and see if i can find one, but probably wont be able too.
 
i have the stock black bolts that go into the engine from the manifold, but i think the bolts you need are silver arent they?

Welcome to the forum everyone! I've never been a fan of the Focus styling, and it annoys me that for just a few thousand dollars more than my P5, I could've had an SVT Focus with the 170-hp 2.OL 16-valve DOHC Zetec engine. (Mind you that's 170-hp <B>without</B> turbo.)

But it would've been ugly. :wtf:
 
Here it is. Sorry for the crappy pics but it is getting ready to storm. I'll get some better pics later. Not like everyone here hasn't seen a stock P5 already. :D

...and Vaarky: The SVT isn't all it's cracked up to be. In fact the PZEV (zero emissions) Focus has more whp and torque than an SVT right out of the box. After the restrictive emissions stuff is removed. And they can be had for around $12k or less. They use the 2.3 Duratech, which will also be available as an option with and w/o the PZEV stuff in 2004.
