2011 CX-9 AWD Touring
Hey all... Just purchased a 2011 CX9 AWD Touring. Black/black, with all the goodies. I'm on a lot of forums, but am new to this one. I'm one of those people who can't leave well enough alone and will be making a few upgrades. The list includes... OEM foglights, auto dimming mirror, remote start and all interior lights changed over to LED. This is my wife's DD, and my first vehicle in this class. I've always owned trucks and cars, but we wanted a good traveling vehicle that doesn't sit on the ground or burn $4/gal diesel. I'm no stranger to Mazdas, this actually makes my 3rd. I know Mazda's quality, and have read reviews for 2 weeks, so I wasn't afraid to buy one with 40k on it, fingers crossed, it will serve us well. See ya round.

Welcome KW900A!
You're upgrade list sounds pretty good. I'm dying for LED swap on the interior as well, like I had on my old 6. But the darn CX-9 uses a bunch of festoon interior bulbs instead of the 194's. Anyway, I'm pretty much just waiting for VLEDs to have a coupon code (had really good luck/customer service from those guys).

I put Pinkish/Purpleish LEDs for all the interior lights on our CX9 :).

Haha, nice :) I'm all about the pure white though, 5k all the way. SO usable, and people always comment that it looks high end. When I de-badged the 6 and threw my own version of puddle lights (5k strip led's on the bottom of the door panel, tied into the courtesy 194 bulbs) people could never figure out it was a Mazda, especially since it was a wagon, lol.

White is nice and clean, that is for sure.

I like to be a little different :). So the wife has the CX9 with Pink/Purple. My Saab has Blue LED interiors (which I change to Green) for the holiday seasons :).

I had a 06 speed6 with blue LEDs in the dome lights, and red LEDs tucked under the dash and front seats. This is my wife's dd though, I'm sure any color will be met with resistance except white.

I stuck to the pure white LED's. Ive done the same in my Kia Sportage, Mazda6, 626 and a few past cars also. It gives the car a much higher end feel to it.
