Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone here. I've been a long-time reader of this forum, for at least a couple years, but have not posted here.

I have an 03 P5 (wife's car) and an 05 Nissan Titan LE (mine). I'm currently between autocross cars...I drove a 99 Civic Si for 6 years and won 2 regional championships with it. I sold it to buy something competitive on the national tour level but haven't found the "right" car yet.

I've thought about it, but honestly I don't have much fun autocrossing cars that aren't set up well. My Civic was very fast on course, with extremely sticky tires, amazing suspension, and a monster rear bar that made it rotate like you wouldn't believe.

I've autocrossed my friends Sentra (12.1 1/4 mile) and didn't have much fun, my mom's Boxster S (ok, I had fun in this one), and several other "borrowed" cars. I've been successful in them, but haven't come off course with an ear-to-ear grin like in a car that's really setup well. I'm in the market for something rwd and high-hp now. :)

welcome :), how about putting a turbo kit in, lowering the p5, sticky rubber, and drive in reverse, that'll be your rear wheel drive ;)

Welcome to our little corner of the web. *cough* you need more miata then ;)

ls1 powered second or third gen rx7...
yea i'm about to get flamed but oh well, thats what i would do

There's an LS1 powered FD in my hometown that I'm in love with. If I found one for sale for a reasonable price I'd consider it, it's just that I've never seen one for sale within 500 miles of South Carolina.

I've ridden in a turbo Miata with big fender flares and seriously wide tires on course before and that was a rush.
