Just found this site this weekend looking for stuff for thes wifes car.
We just picked up an 05 Mazda 3 with a tick over 33,600miles and I must say I really like it! I'm a little jealous that she gets to drive it everyday.

I think the trim kit is aftermarket and my wife wanted those pedals caused they matched .

Nothing really has been done to it, but i think the Previous owner had put a lowering kit in

Welcome to the boards and the mazda fam!! It does look to be lowered a bit. It looks good!

that trim kit is oem and expensive looks good. deffinatly looks lowered. welcome!

Thanks for the info on the dash Kit tsunami. Where in Maine do you live? I was born and raised in Greene. Little town outside of Lewiston/Auburn.

i am in bridgton though looking to move closer to work (westbrook) the commute is getting old.

i have the red carbon looking piece but never could dig up some one willing to sell the window trim pieces... now that its been so long i think it would look funny with them

where in colorado are you? i have family near boulder and my sister lived there as well but i can't remember the town name... something strange will have to ask her...

I 've been to Bridgton, my brother went to that 1 yr prep school bridgton academy before he went to college.

I live out by Denver international airport so I'm about 40 minutes east from boulder.

I've only been on the board a few days and already took advantage of the marketplace. Just bought some speed 3 springs, from what I've read on here they will fit.

Thanks all those that said welcome too.

yeah the speed 3 springs will fit and if you car was lowered by a hack (cut/sagged springs) it will improve the ride for sure.

found out it was nederland where my sister lived for a while.

turns out the they where green tein springs. the real ones not knock offs. My buddy and I put the speed 3 springs in shortly after i received them and they are fantastic. My wife loves the car even more no that she doesn't have to worry about avoid potholes and bumps.

I've been up through Nederland a bunch. They have the "frozen dead guy days" thing once a year. Still havn't made it up for that but i guess they have a real frozen dead guy out on display.

"frozen dead guy" no s***... sounds cool. thats cool your wife now has no worries about bumps but still has a bit of perf lowering springs offer. you could probably sell those tiens here on the forums btw. i am sure some one would by them from you.

Yeah, i'm gonna clean them up when i get home from work this weds and put them up.

I don't know how many miles are actually on them but i know it can't be more than 33,000 lol.

Those where Tein springs. I have since swapped them out to OEM speed3 springs to make it a better commuter for my wife.

Welcome. Did it come with that bra? If so you may want to take it off and see if your front end is scratched up at all.

Yeah it did, and I did check it at the stealership before I even test drove it. There are some scratches underneath, but nothing bad enough to turn me away.

I just saw this thread for the first time. I was going to congratulate and welcome you, which I see many others beat me to the punch, but now you've already traded her in??

Why? 'Great looking sedan you had there. 5-sp, with springs and trim, Velocity Red Mica, etc... an S so it had the 2.3L? I don't get it.

My wife and I both liked the car but it didn't have ABS brakes and was horrible in the snow. With my wife having a new job where she commutes on roads less travelled and myself out of town for work we wanted an all-wheel drive car.
