I actually like it, if that'll be the lines of Mazda's sports cars it may be reasonable to think that those are the lines of a possible next-gen RX-7. Stick a 3-rotor Renesis in there w/ their new hybrid stuff...that'll be something.

Not bad, but needs at least the turboed 4 or a modded V6.

As for the rear quarter lights, either drop the bottom of the window line to match the door sill or get rid of the window completely and redo the rear line of the door glass in a smooth upwards arc. Also, that black plastic hunk between the door glass and the quarter light sucks mightily.

And let's put some real supportive seats in the thing. Hammocks don't cut it. Ahhh, show cars.

this car could be the start of something new, but they are going to ruin it by putting in a low hp engine.

looks like a car that begs to be driven. low hp rating could use some re-thinking...but look at the p5, the low hp doesn't take away from the fact that it's fun as hell to drive.

Remember this is a rear-wheel drive coupe to br priced for first time new car buyers. Think sub-$20,000. There's nothing in the market like that. I was surprised they didn't throw in the MX-5 170 hp 2.0 liter, but possibly they don't want it to compete with roadster?

It will still be a sweet car with rear-wheel drive and low weight and I can see a toned- down production model looking great.

What do you mean nothing in the market like that? That's the whole idea of scion, but yea I agree with the toned down thing, will look great.

If they make it light and keep it small the low HP could be ok. Look at the Elise after all.

I like the profile and 3/4 but that face makes me want to give Mazda design a collective slap.

i think it looks bad ass and would sport one. but if its only going to have 150ish hp then im out... thats just depressing, this thing looks like it needs to be opened up and taken around some turns etc. lovin the RWD
