New LSD tranny put in but no movement.

Hey guys just got my car running again after the LSD snapped (made it to 105,559 miles). I have the driver side axle in but not the passenger side in just to see if it moved and the driver side axle doesn't. When I let the clutch out the car does rev and I do hear the gears changing inside the transmission. What I need to know is why the driver side axle is not moving.

I haven't had any LSD problems, but if you have to replace both sides, maybe you have to go ahead and get both sides done before you can do anything

Both sides? Its a brand new LSD nothing else was done to the transmission. Its does seem however that the lsd does spin slowly when the car is in gear.

Does the passenger side axle need to be in for it to work?

I don't really know. you said that you had only done the driver side. made it sound like you needed to do the passenger side. So i thought that might be it.

Ok I see what you are saying sorry just misread it. We are going to try and put the other axle in and see if it works.
