hey everyone. i have been registered here for, wll a while now but this is the first time i've posted on here. i am from barrie about an hour north of toronto, so i spend most of my time on toprotege.com. i lurk around here quite a bit as there are some sick rides, and endless technical advice pieces. great site you've got.
heres a few pics and some info on my P5 i picked up in feb. of '08.
list of things i've done to it.
Under the Hood Etc.
- ractive 4-1 header (extended 2nd o2 sensor beyond 2nd cat)
- "long reach" NGK plugs (part no. ZFR5F-11)
- removed front half of stock intake (custom in the works)
- new rust free oil pan
- Nyloil shifter bushings (thanks stagefour motorsports)
- gone through 2 axlebacks, one custom ractive, the other mazdaspeed "sport". currently running stock.
Exterior
- Original Autoexe urethane front lip (repaired many times in its life)
- DRL elimination. fogs are on anytime ignition is on (and fog switch is turned on)
- '03 rims
- painted top strip of front grille to match car
- painted rear valence
- 323f badge (from London, U.K.)
- repainted read hatch and temp. repaired wheel well rust
- Nexen N2000 tires (cheap but new, and no nails stuck in them)
Interior/Audio
- Protege 5 Aluminum door sill garnish
- Pioneer DEH-P7600MP deck
- Clarion SRC 5795 front door speakers
- unknown cheap rear door speakers
- wired for sub/amp etc. from last owner
