Yeah, i'm another new fello looking to purchase a ms3. I've been shopping around lately for the best deal on a 08.5 gt. So far I was quoted at 23474 for a black with msrp of 25,095. They said thats 300 lower then invoice, but i find that hard to believe. lol. Any help would be great. From what i've read the gt invoice was around 22.5. Think there be anyways to get the price lower? lol.

What ever you do dont buy the MS3. Get the new 2009 WRX.

Almost the same price, faster 0-60 (5.4 sec according to Car and driver.com)
And you can't beat AWD.

Who cares if it looks a little crappy, you'll own us at the track if you buy this car.

That's funny thats the same 0-60 time Car and Driver recorded for the MS3 and it doesn't even have AWD. I wonder which car will be faster after the launch...

yeah, for a GT invoice is around 22,500 with no options. you can always check edmunds.com to run through your options. for me. I'd find a new dealer. i don't put up with blatant lies. i'd call them out on it too.

and about the WRX. yeah...well it's like 30k+ for about the same performance. maybe if u lived up north it would be worth it but here down south, not so much.

plus. it's butt ugly.

haha yeah i thought so. They were saying that o we will print out the invoice blah blah blah. From what i've heard most dealers make up fake ones etc... I told them i know the invoice was low to mid 22s. haha.

Another twist is I got a quote from wayne mazda on a white one msrp of 25225 or something like that. They sent me a quote through email and told me 22841 which seemed around invoice for a white one. One problem though is that wayne mazda is 2 hours away. lol. Be hard as hell to get up there.

The new WRX MSRP isn't changing, staying right around $25,000. Not sure where you get the 30k+ from.

Ms3

If you can get OTD for that quoted price i think you should take it. I got the sport model and i got OTD for around 24k sales tax around here is 8.5 percent too not including licensing fees. another tip is to ask for the specific invoice for the car you want. great site called carbuyingtips.com gives you a pretty good system for buying a car if you stick to it. also making dealerships compete for your money will net you better deals.
