Hey guys just want to say hey, i'm new to my protege how every not new to mazda owned a 87 rx-7 back in the day by far my favorite car in life. Just picked up a 02 mica blue 5 sp, i had a 96 maxima prior and hated that it was a 5sp , but now i have this , it has been a blast, i purchased this in new york, funny story... I bought a oneway ticket to newyork (mother lives there) with the ideal that i would buy a car in 3 days and drive it back to ohio. Long story short i looked a lot of things but it was all crap and although it has rust around the wheel wells i loved the look of it. I pulled up peaked at it and went straight to the bmv with the owner no test drive , no anything (i did know this guy distant friend of family) jump in it and drove back to ohio with in a half an hour of seeing it . Got her home realize rt rear caliper was not working, and it need that damn down pipe that's not a flex pipe, fix this, 169,000 on it with no knowledge other than it was driven back in forth from conn to pa for a while. But looking forward to talking about cars and what i can do to it.
