New guy from Michigan (13b questions)

Hey I basically joined this forum to collect info for my swap. I'm putting a 13b in a 240sx. I know (screwy) right? I'm fed up with my stock engine and all the Nissan swaps are either too played out or way too expensive. My buddy has a 13b with 12a side plates, race bearings, carbon apex seals, race oil pump, street porting, and a racing beat intake and Holley four barrel mated to a four speed trans with a new clutch just laying around because he went with a 301 swap in his RX2. So I'm picking that up for what seems like a steal to me.

Basically some things I need to know as of right now are, what trans is this, how much of a beating can it take, and what's a good guess on the WHP an engine like this should theoretically put out?

One thing I noticed today is this.

12a/13b swap mount for an RX3

RX3 crossmember

S chassis (240sx) crossmember

Notice the similarities? It seems like with that bracket, mounts would be very simple.

Also, the front cover to shifter is about 44 1/2" and the 240sx crossmember to shifter opening is about 45".

That swap sounds like fun!

No idea how much power the engine will make. It all has to do with the condition of the engine and stuff. I don't expect it to be huge, but it should rev nicely.

its a dry sump cosmo re in a s14 chassis put down like 450 whp. its used for drifting

thats a series 1 rx7 gearbox dude, there weak as wont last very long if you plan on abusing it
