New guy from Cleveland area

Hey everyone, figured now was a good time to start an account here since I just purchased a 2008 Mazdaspeed3. I've been lurking for a while, I previously had a 91 Miata that was my first (and only car) since I was 16 until now. There is also a Mazdaspeed Miata in the house as well, so I guess we are a fairly Mazda heavy house.

The 3 is stock for now, about to grab a new rear motor mount and intake, then see where it goes from there. The Miata did autocross duty for quite a few years and held up extremely well, and hopefully the 3 will be the same way. Anyone else from the Cleveland area?

I work for Progressive Insurance, graduated from OSU last year and got this job after taking a few months off (i.e. couldn't find a job).

I'll be working for PCC Airfoils there for my first rotation. I'll be living farther south though in Munroe falls with a couple guys on the forum here. I'm sure I'll be seeing you in the future!

My fiancee's brother works for PCC Airfoils right now. I think his internship is ending in July though.

Yea, I used to go to almost every event of the season when I was in high school and part of college, my dad and I both drove the old miata (think it was in E-Stock at the time). Definitely fun stuff, but I'm now realizing how much more it costs to by 18 inch race tires than it did to buy 14 inch ones. More fun=more money!
