2012 Mazda 3 Sport GS-SKY
Hello there!

New here...new to a Mazda community...but not my first Mazda! Always been a car guy myself!!

25 years old...already at my 5th car...So far i've had:
1996 Mazda 626 V6 2.5L Cronos
2002 Nissan Maxima 3.5L V6
2000 VW Cabrio
2008 Toyota Yaris Hatchback
2012 Mazda 3 Sport SkyActiv

But this one is my first new car. Should be here for a while now!

Got myself a 2012 Mazda 3 Sport SkyActiv, Sky Blue Mica! (I know...i've said that already :P)

I had the worst service possible at the dealership...but the price was good. They included a ton of things with the car...so I guess there is that...

Here are a few pictures and I am looking forward to exchanging with everyone here and learn a great deal from every one of you!
If there is any Montreal (or Quebec) people who want to chat or even meet, more than glad to too!

The SkyActiv doing an impressive only 2x1000RPM to reach 110km/h! (68 miles/h)
That explains the 1000km/600 miles per tank...

Thats for now! :)

Very nice, congrats. Nice rpms, I'm at 2300 rpm at just 100 km/h with the manual.

Welcome aboard, you will enjoy your new 3. I am glad to see that Canadians and Aussies can appreciate good driving dynamics. Would be nice if Mazda could get more of a leg up in the U.S. market, like they have in the Canadian and Australian market, but unfortunately Americans like big vehicles with soft suspensions.

Congrats.

Curious where you had such bad dealer experience.

In comparison, my Protege would be at 3200 rpm at that speed.(boom02)

Do you also have a Sky? Wow…that’s a huge difference if so!

Thanks CBurrell !! I appreciate the worm welcome! Mazda 3s here are sold like crazy…you can easily spot 5-10 of them every minute you’re on a busy street! The most sold car here in Quebec!
People stay away from buying a car that everyone has to be original, but there is a reason people are buying Mazda3s…and I’m just discovering that now! And Loving it!!

Was Brossard Mazda…Every part of my purchase was a DESASTER. Worst purchase process ever.
But I Like my car …so that’s that! But I’m in no way satisfied with them. I wasn’t smiling at any time during the whole process. From going in to leaving with my car. it even reached the dealership’s owner because my complaint was so big the general director didn’t know what to do to fix this.

Thanks. I guess I know which one to avoid. Wow, small world, I live 20 minutes from there.

Anyways, have a good one. Nice purchase.
