Mazda Mazdaspeed3
Hi all, I got my first turbocharged car ever recently. My 2011 Mazdaspeed3, in silver, back in September. Just got it switched over to some 16" MSW wheels and Falken Eurowinters in time for our first snow. I've been meaning to post for awhile, and will stick up some pictures tonight.

Just ordered some Hawk ceramic pads to try to cut down on the huge amount of stock brake dust. Also picked up some pads for track days next summer. Its about time to start researching which wheels to get in the spring for track days too.

Welcome to the forum! (2thumbs) Congrats on the new car and the first turbo!

What pads did you go with for track days? What tracks do you go to? If you ever make it down to Mid-Ohio let me know I spend a lot of time there in the summer.

I ended up going with a set of the Hawk DTC-60's, based on a friend's recommendation. I run Raybestos ST-43's on my racecar, a 92 Lexus SC400, and I love those pads, but they're more of an endurance pad.

I'll for sure run Brainerd Internation Raceway up in Brainerd, MN, but hopefully also get over to Road America. I may upgrade the rotors too, but I haven't decided. Also ordered the Goodridge brake lines, hopefully they fit, most areas had them listed as up through 2009, but I didn't think anything changed. Getting out to Mid-Ohio would be awesome, I'd love to run that track.

Mid-Ohio is a great place I love that track. I can drive it 100s of times and never get tired of it. I'd love to get up to Road America sometime too.

I have the Goodridge lines on my Miata, they are OK I guess. Anything was better than the 18 year old lines that were on the car! :)
