Currently seeing 31.5 mpg on my CX-5 GT with AWD (actual figure not what the dash tells me) and that's with 20" wheels and 295 width tires. It will dip in the winter as all cars do. Anyhow, considering the car is only EPA rated for 30 mpg highway that's pretty impressive. Speaking of impressive, the AWD is incredible in the winter. I don't live in Canada, but the Midwest took a bating this winter and with just the OEM tires my little CX-5 never once let me down. These cars are little tanks in snowy weather! I also own a Mazda5 and I will tell you the CX-5 is a HUGE step up.
