New CX 9 owner

Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a new CX 9 owner, I'm new to Mazda but not new to the forum scene. Traded my BMW 530Xi for it, we needed a vehicle with a 3rd row. Looking forward to making some new friends and learning more about this vehicle.

I owned a BMW 540iA for 10 years since new. Great drive, lots of problems.
Now, I am a happy CX9 owner. Not as great a drive, much much more reliable.

Fortunately for me, my 530 did not give me any problems. I do miss the way it handles, maybe I just need to get used to the way the CX 9 drives.

As they said, if your BMW did not give you problems, you did not own it long enough. .
Those who own BMWs for 2-3 years are unlikely to complain about BMWs.
The most problematic area of a BMW is the torque-converter and transmission (connected, actually).
If you had a manual one, obviously, this is not an issue.
V8s are also more problematic than the I6s.
