New Black 2007 Mazda3

I'm new to Mazda, the 3, and this forum.. I was on here before in the MSP section when i was shopping for a car and considering the SpeedProtege. Decided on the 3 and now i've got it, and it's nice...but i hate new-car smell. Whatever.

Here're the questions:

1) Is it common for condensation to find its way into the driver side rear light assembly? If there is condensation there, does it mean that the lens isn't full sealed? And if it shouldn't quite be the case, is there something that can be done about it so that I know what to tell a mazda dealership tech out here?

2) do all 07 Mazda 3s have a whine that comes from the engine bay when the car is 'on'? Because mine does, and I've never heard this before on any car ever.

3) Is there a way to sharpen up the throttle response? b/c there's a noticeable delay between my 'blipping' the pedal, and the engine actually responding... about 1/2sec... prevents me from rev matching..and is annoying... feels kind of like an auto-with the overdrive feature.. except that i drive a manual...

oh and
4) Is there a Mazda dealership that will reflash my car's ECU so as to affect any of the above mentioned?..throttle response would be great... i love the car except for that.

1.) Not common on Mazda 3, Very common on RX-8 should be covered under warrenty

2.) I have an 06 Mazda 3 and the wine is generally attributed to the Electric Power Steering Pump, If were talking about the same wine then it is normal.

3.) I dont know, never noticed it on mine.

Thanks a lot for the help guys. I really appreciate it. I took it in to Dealership to get a baseline of how the car should behave and they flashed the ecu and checked on the rear light assembly for me... car should be good now.. whine seems to be gone also.
