+1Since you regularly track your car I suggest mounting them as is out of the box and letting them settle for a few days. Then you can get a clearer picture of your clearances and adjust from there. They are easy to adjust the ride height, just have to take the wheel off. I used a set of calipers to take measurements (between upper and lower lock-rings).
The slammed look is cool and all, but unless you like melted fender liners and premature shoulder block wear a bit of discretion will go a long way.![]()
My endlinks aren't gold...Mine are black.... should i feel special or sad? You tell me guys...
If you read the directions, it actually says NOT to adjust the ride height that way. You end up reducing the distance the suspension can traveli've only adjusted using the two locking rings in the center of the strut. i'd have to look at it, but i don't think it would make sense for the actual strut to rotate....
use the wrench and spanners that are under the spring. If you're wanting to raise the car, put the wrench on the lower ring turn to the right. You're essentially spinning the lower bracket down.Yeah I just want to raise my rear just a tad, like 1/4 of an inch, maybe half inch, but still not that much. I loosened the lower spanner and gripped the strut best I could, it didn't budge at all.![]()
