New BC Suspension Install

i was just referring to the fact that there are two adjustable rings instead of a fixed perch. obviously the spring has to sit on something...

ah well yes. Gotcha, that's what I was trying to figure out lol.

ok, i readjusted my BCs the correct way today... it all makes sense now. loosening the bottom ring then rotating the strut body. with a spanner wrench i turned(but did not loosen!) one of the two locking rings in the middle of the strut in order to rotate the entire body. top one down to lower, bottom one up to raise. it was easy to see once i went out to the garage and got a visual. thanks for straightening me out, folks!

ATTENTION

Be sure all your threads are clean, and not marred at all before installing/adjusting the suspension. It will cause the different parts to jam when trying to adjust ride heights/spring perch level. I first thought it was dirt and grime that caused the jam, but after looking at the new parts I received from BC, it looks like there were threads that were dinged in the warehouse. Those small dings were enough to cause the locking ring and lower bracket to start to sieze. I was able to back the parts off and clean the the threads with a file. Luckily, they're made from aluminum, so they clean up easy.
