- Didn't like the black smoke came out initially from the exhaust pipes like old diesels.
- Saw CD/DVD player again but don't think we'll get it in the US.
- Saw front and rear fog lights with indicators. We won't see the rear fog light and any indicators.
- Saw Side View Camera feature with button in action but we won't get it.
- TPMS button has a light.
- Saw i-stop button and I miss that.
- AC has a "Eco" mode!
- At front center console, 9V power socket moved out and 2 front USBs moved in.
- Electrical Parking Brake finally added the "Auto Hold" function.
- Has 2 rear USB ports hidden in the rear center arm rest.
- Saw heated rear seat buttons but I don't think we'll see them in the US.
- Power liftgate acted pretty fast with an inside switch / button which is a welcome feature.
- Finally saw Rear AC Vents available.
- Bose sub-woofer in spare tire area, and 2 tweeters on A-pillars, are very nice added speakers which should improve Bose sound quality a lot! But we lost spare tire for sub-woofer and I wonder why Mazda couldn't make both co-existing like in CX-3 and CX-9?
- JDM style low-profile rear seat headrests look different from old pair. So we can't reuse our old pair for new CX-5!
- Gas filler door release moved to front dash area next to hood release level.
