New 2012 CX-9er checking in!

Just bought a new 2012 GT model (the last 2012 model on the lot) with Moonroof & Nav/Bose packages. MSRP of over $39k for just shy of $30k. Did I get a smokin deal or what?

What options do I have for an aftermarket rear DVD system? Headrest replacements?

Are there any cool low-cost upgrades that you'd recommend? I saw a thread on interior LED lighting that looked cool. Anything else?

We have Phillips DVD players that strap to both driver and passenger headrests. My wife bought them so I don't know how much they are but they aren't too expensive. She also has purchased the Best Buy warranty on them and has paid for itself about 5 times because they don't hold up the best with a 3 and 7 year old ranking on them. Not as nicely integrated as a in headrest set but way less expensive and I like the option of moving them to my car if we want to take it on a short trip.

Yes, I would say a very good deal.

One thing I would suggest on your 2012 is probably to do an oil change at 3K seeing it has been sitting on a lot for maybe a year or so already. In addition, I would probably get a good detail or do it yourself because paint has been neglected in that regard too. Try Zaino AIO on it...it will correct any lot imperfections and provide good paint protection.

That's a great deal. Was that a OTD price or before tax, title and license?

That was before tax & fees. OTD was $33k.

Congrats on your purchase, and good deal! My advice on your new ride - Don't be one of those... keep your exhaust finishers cleaned and shined regularly. I always see CX-9's driving around with the bottom of the exhaust finishers rusting and black. Don't do it!
