The only pic i've got of it was the one taken while we were checking it out before we bought it. Gives you an idea tho.
The torque steer isn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Honestly, i'm not buying it to rocket all over town...it's just my run around. I'm gonna have kids on the way within a year or so, so I had to get something with 4 doors with pep. This seemed to fit the bill nicely. Gas mileage for the first few tanks has been better then sticker for in-town (probably because i'm trying to stay out of boost during break-in) but oddly enough, the in-car MPG figures are usually at least 3 MPG better then reality. Figured maybe + or - 1 MPG but oh well...didn't buy it for the mileage anyway.
The price was a lil more then I wanted to spend on a car but every used car I get seems to have been beat to almighty hell by the previous owner, so I figured why not start fresh and know it hasn't been abused. 5 miles on it when i bought it.
As for the MS6, you'd better hope you got one of them without the infamous studder. Mine was plagued with it bad enough that I almost ran head on into traffic while trying to pass on a 2 lane, then half way through the pass the studder kicked in. 06's are notorious for them, 07's not as much but i've still heard of some being affected. It's a nightmare that you never wake up from. One other word for ya....CLUTCH. You know. (whip)
Honestly, the ONLY thing about the whole car that I don't like is that friggin goofy smile in the front. Sunroof woulda been nice if it were offered and HID's would have been a plus, but neither seemed to make a huge difference in my thought process. Integration of the navigation into the dash is pretty cool, although it's a little on the small side to actually be able to read the roads your passing. Redeeming grace would be the sweet intercooler scoop on the front. FINALLY...something to battle that rediculous heat-soak from the first gen 2.3 DISIs.
I'm looking to buy some winter rims to put snows on, but naturally even tire rack doesn't offer anything that fits for winter rims. Has any of the wheel/brake specs changed from the previous generation? the 07-09's have steelies that fit, but i'm not sure if they will fit the 2010s. I don't want a nice set of rims for snow, cause that's all they'll be is snow rims.
