Hey all,

Proud new owner of a 2009 CX9 luxury here in Australia :) It currently has 57,000 kms. I've only had it for a couple of weeks but I already think its an awesome car!

Now, I have a few questions about it. First off, is it possible for anyone to please list the options that were available when this car was originally bought? It also has vibration at roughly 50km/h (30mph) coming from somewhere, which I think is the front left. The problem doesn't disappear when we changed the gears down manually, but if you take your foot off the accelerator or put your foot down a little more the vibration disappears. Any ideas?

I'll post up some pics tomorrow or something.

Thanks in advance! :)

In the United States the options are sport, touring and grand touring. Not sure what a CX-9 Luxury is. In the U.S. Grand Touring is the top. GT comes standard with Leather, fog lamps, xenon headlamps, 20" wheels and some other items. 20" wheels, Fogs and Xenon not available on Touring for any option. I think Nav/Bose/Moonroof is an option on all trim packages.

Your vibration....hmmm I don't know. I can say that my 2008 was missing a steel brace which secured the rear part of the intake manifold to the rear of the cylinder head, and that got rid of a bad vibration I had around 1800/1900rpm or so. You could have a bent wheel, a half shaft out of round, if you have all wheel drive, you could have an out of round prop shaft/rear driveshaft, could be bad tires, who knows. Get it looked at for sure.

Or something as simple as a warped rotor or other brake issue...

Our car came with the 20" wheels, Bose audio, moonroof, leather. I guess it's the equivalent of the GT in the US.

Thanks to both for some ideas on what the problem could be. :) I'll update this thread once I find the culprit.
