NEPOC Cruise to New Brunswick, NJ meet 4/17

(burnout) Are you guys thinking about going on the fun run after the meet too? Should be back in time for later festivities by the looks of things. Hopefully I dont destroy my new front end in the twisties.

Just letting everybody know. Alcohol isn't permitted in the park



So just don't run around screaming "I HAVE BEER" and we should be OK. And people need to bring microbrews!! I love trying new beer (and prefer the heavy, strong stuff )

Also I was wondering if any of the NEPOC crew would be interested in going on a Fun Run at the end of the meet. Check it out http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60217

Of course that means we can't drink as much beer, but it's only a small sacrifice...the run is pretty awesome.

Don't worry, Jersey...I'll bring some immort ale...dunno how much, though...I'm kinda poor. Possibly two six packs if I can swing it, but that's quite a bit of strong beer.

Im 17 and I wasnt sober in NH for to long haha. I dont plan on being sober down in NJ once I get into the hotel room haha. We need to get some of that beer that astral brought, that was good. Greg you gotta get me a 30 pack or somethin before you go out to the bar incase I can't get in......

EXACTLY! I just thought I'd bring something to share. Not many people know what DFH beer is, and how good it is. An 11% abv beer is something everyone should experience!

I should try that, but I can't at the meet. Have you had the 10.5% Belgian Piraat beer? Daymn that s*** is strong. Too strong tasting. The highest abv beer that I like is the 9.5% Westmalle Trippel. It has a rich, heavy taste, but it doesn't kill like Piraat.

Westmalle is good. I love Tripels. There's a local brewpub that makes a great 9.4% ABV Belgian Tripel around here...but they don't bottle their beers. I also like Delerium Tremens, Duvel...and Allagash makes an excellent Tripel.

BTW Strongest beer I've ever had - Sam Adams Triple Bock. Ridiculous 17.5% ABV

My favorite though is Westmalle Dubbel (7.5% abv) in its proper glass, properly poured (makes a difference, affects carbonation). Good s***. I brought me a six-pack and a proper glass from Belgium.
