Drove the 10AE around for a few hours today... I took it up to mountains and then across Lake Lanier and the local dam... The area where I wanted to go for pics was closed off, but oh well.

Saw the movie Oz yesterday in 3D. Visual effects were very good. Enjoyable movie for a rainy day.

Today is back to sunny weather. Going to Orlando and then meeting up with Ottawa Miata members for dinner in New Smyrna Beach.

Well, I'm reading it as he's looking at a 10AE so color would be blue. But if I'm wrong and Josh means that he is looking into a Miata then too.

As for 10AE's I got all giddy when I found this on CL. The title reads "1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata 10th Anniversary Edition - Hurry Wont Last Long - $4989 (Doylestown, PA)" You'll see why my smile faded after I opened the link...

I looked at a 10AE before buying my miata. It's sad to see them when they are pretty beat. There was one down in Milford CT that I took a look at, and it was just beat to hell. They wanted 13 grand for it (back in 2008) too.

Yes it is a shame. In my hunt ive come across some bad ones at crazy prices. Yeah its rare but with ripped tops, etc the value drops.

Yeah, I'm about 2 miles from the end of 33 at 80. Just take 611 east into Strouds Twp, half a mile from the mall there.

The intercooler is also upgraded, though that was a couple months ago. The fin damage is why I went with a $65 ebay one instead of a $500 FM one. I'll be replacing it regularly and call it maintenance

Was a busy day yesterday. First repaired the towed light wiring. I use this when I tow Mia behind the rig. Then I've had a noise coming from the fan heater motor for a few months. Pulled it out and found leaves in the blades. CLeaned them out and now the motor is quiet again.

Did a run to Costco in Orlando and then met some of the Ottawa Miata group for dinner in New Smyrna Beach.

Colder today but looks to be warming up for Friday and the weekend. 2 more weeks and then the trip back to Canada.

27x7x2.5 is this one. Just removed the brackets for the PS cooler line and re-mounted the one on the end higher up where it fit perfectly. I think it was one of the horn bolting points that it lined up with. Everything else had plenty of room, thought a faint offset to the passenger side for the IC overall, but not a concern or problem for me.

I've been researching them and with this special model this year in this color, next year in that color, these options for this year, packages changed and re-named, there is quite a bit of info out there for the car to try and remember it all.

Damn, that isn't far at all then. Years ago, I took my wife's sister up there for a bowling tourney. The alley was just across the street from the mall. If you ever get down near the Hecktown Road exit (where Young Mazda is), I'm about 2 miles in.
