damn tony thats so lousy!!

might be planning some good driving for the p5 this summer. been trying to keep the mileage down so far as compared to the school year but this trip will destroy all my hard work!!

On another note, seems my daughter, all on her own mind you, has decided that her first car should be a Miata. She is saving up and we will be in the marking soon for a early 90s model. Likes that style more than others.

So just got back from having the CEL read, EGR valve, replaced it 3 years ago....so probably right....about 60k miles ago.

It looks like I'd rather buy a TIG welder and redo the exhaust myself then shell out $$$ and loose about a week of work for same outcome.

working on a saturday morning! i remember when i would used to watch looney tunes at this time haha
overtime ftw.. but $15 an hour so im not complaining lol
im getting an oil change next week so ill just have the rumble looked at then.
i have no idea what i want to do with my car right now..
mostly b.c its not running right but i keep going back and forth between wanting to mod it (rear swaybar/motor mounts/shifter/cosmetic upkeep) or wanting to keep saving for college/after college

Morning all. Still waiting on parts stuck in the mail due to the Canadian postal strike.

Got the ecu to control the top but it was DOA. Guy who sold it to me is not answering emails. M*****F*****.

But contacted the company thru the miata.net forum and he is willing to look at it and see what he can do. Drove down to the border yesterday and mailed it.

hey bruce...find any mazda owners to hang with in? the parts are for the muffler?

I belong to 2 clubs. 1 is for autox although they do other racing. The other is the Miata club. Mostly older folk doing cruising, although they do a tech night once a month at a real garage with lifts. There doesn't seem to be a mazda group locally.

Still waiting on the muffler. Stuck in the mail, but strike is supposed to be over tomorrow, maybe by the end of the week hopefully. More brackets are loose lol.

Meh....teardown has begun. I swapped the hoods, OEM washer nozzles for Tribute nozzles, and horns yesterday and also removed the eyelids, mirror covers, MP5 stickahs and smoked fog overlays. In doing so I found my DS fog to be cracked...WTF. And the MP5 stickahs will be applied to the cargo box the next time I get it down. A little piece of Karen shall live on. lol
