NEMOC Random BS Thread

Ordered the DDM slim ballast 6000k H7 kit for the P5! Wife decided she didnt want to take my summer wheels, so looks like 35% tint all the way around, remote start, and rain/wind visors for the Mazda5(for now). I know it might take a little bit for shipping but I talked to Ken a PG and he gave me a good deal. $700 for the tokico spings/struts, awr end links, progress rear sway bar and new sway bar bushings, and I will be buying the rear strut tower from MAHK! So it looks like I will have MOAR lower by the spring. Not in a rush to lower it anyway. So if it takes a little bit to get the stuff thats fine. I wanted to wait til spring to lower it.

Carbon Fiber Stops Fart Smell Now The Greatest Material In The World

At the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center, a group of people set out to try and find a material that would help minimize problems with odoriferous rectal gas aka fart smell.

The tests were done by instilling a tube of 100 ml of nitrogen containing 40 ppm of sulfide gases and 0.5% H(2) at the anus of six healthy volunteers. They volunteers all wore gas impermeable Mylar pantaloons over their garments. They then had them put pads inside the underwear with a variety of materials.

If no pad was in place, the garment alone remove about 5.3% of the sulfide gases. Most of the materials were not very effective, absorbing about 20% of the gases. The best of the bunch were briefs constructed from an activated carbon fiber fabric, which removed 55-77% of the sulfide gases.

Conclusion? Get some carbon fiber briefs if you dont want people to smell your farts.

I'm getting carbon fiber seats! Taco bell FTW now!

Josh - I know and I share the same love for alpine head units. Have you looked at any of their new stuff? I maybe looking to swap out the one in the new truck and was just curious if you were familiar with any of their new stuff.

Good morning NEPOC

I know some people that should use underwear, underarm and mouth piece of carbon fiber. Damn they are stinky.

I have a newer alpine in my Subaru. Great head unit, especially if you plan on using it with an iPod.

Anyone know if I can close a thread that I started?

I'm pretty sure only a moderator can do that.

I'm in VMware training today, and for the rest of the week. It sure beats being in the office.

Morning and Happy Valentines all!

Very nice Jeff! So does this mean she'll be bringing it to the spring clean meet? ;)

hahahahahaha....that is one of the first things I asked her! She said no, but I'll continue to work on her until the time comes.

Morning all!

Boring Mondays...

Back in the office helping put together this massive report...the thing's gotta be 3 feet thick.

What's my job? Sit in the copy room and make two copies of the entire report, sort and separate them, (argh) hole-punch them (argh), and stick them into some giant 5" binders.

I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to manage driving 25 mins down to the dealer to pay the balance of the truck, get the title, take the title to the insurance company to pick up the insurance card and take those another 20 mins to the DMV to get it registered...all before 4pm....without taking the day off from work. It's going to take some serious ninja skills to slip out of the office early enough.

Dealer should be able to do all that for you. When I picked mine up on friday they had already talked to my insurance company and had a copy of the insurance card there for me. They should also register it, etc for you.

I'd rather spend some quality time in line at the DMV then pay them $300 to do it for me.
