Just tried to swap over the new snows on the Nitro. Massive fail on my part. The wheels are fused to the hubs. I tried the mallet and lots of thrashing. I even drove around the parking lot with the lug nuts loose. No budge. I gave up and dropped it off at the local gas station. They're gonna do it for $35. I was hoping to install the new mud flaps today too but I guess that will have to wait.

that sucks.......when i got my flat with the pacifica a couple months ago, it really was a strugle to get the rim off.....was fused to the hub!!!!!

So the P5 is going in for surgery on Monday night. Have a small coolant leak, tranny is starting to slip, gonna do the timing belt, water pump, drive belts, just an all around big tune up. Then a couple weeks after taxes are done, I have actually decided to keep her, I know I know, I keep changing my mind, but I cant let her go. After all the work I am having done to it I cant let it go. So looks like I'm going to need suggestions on lowering kits, HID's, exhaust, Tint and painting my wheels. A possible 02 Dodge Ram 2500 is in the picture as an addition to the family. Just can't let the car go. Cant see trading her in, eating almost 4500 in neg equity. Going to also get the paint on pass side and rust spot on wheel well drivers side fixes. P5 overhaul FTW!
For suspension I was looking at the Tokico Blues with springs from PG, Mazdaspeed sway bars with awr end links. and gt spec front and rear strut towers. any other suggestions i will take, have a 3k budget. thats including the paintand tint.
This is what I was thinking either this or magnaflow for exhaust, and OBX header.

Well, the dealership couldn't find anything wrong. Guess we'll just drive it for a while and see if the smell comes back.
I don't feel like so much of a schmuck now though...after failing to remove the wheels while attempting to switch over the snows, the gas station I dropped it off at called and said they were having trouble getting them off too...after some heat they finally did get them off so I'll have pics tomorrow.
