NEMOC Random BS Thread

Yeah I need to figure out what to do with the inside of the M, it is a light grey interior and I have never fully detailed a car like I want to the M without using simple products, any suggestions?

Took the top off the Jeep on Sat morning and had it off until Sunday night. First time in a while we were able to do that.

I pulled apart my passenger door to diagnose some nasty feedback i was getting from the speaker when someone opened the door. Turns out the wire got crushed in the window track and was pinched enough to occasionally short out.

We went to the Raynham Flea on Sunday. Perfect day for it too. Picked up some more LPs including Chicago's first album and an unopened copy of Manyard Furgeson's Chameleon for only $8! Haven't listened to it yet...haven't even opened it. In fact, I may just keep it that way for a while since I have it on CD.

Too bad my Miata is going into the body shop soon. :(
at least she'll get all fixed up!!

i was there last sunday, got my grand daughter a pet crab for her birthday!

Got back tonite after 730pm. Just under 12 hours. Some of the back roads were fantastic. Wish I had Mia there. She's still on jacks in the garage waiting.

so i check my brakes last night...got some funny noise and didn't feel right when applying a lot of pressure...drivers side rear rotor gone worn out? i just put these on last fall???? about 20k miles maybe?

^^ wow. I had a pad crack on me last year. Only noticed it though from wear on the rotor (or lack there of wear).

Last night had the worst sleep ever. My phone woke me up at 1AM and I never fell back asleep. You know the kind of nights when you're mind just won't settle and you can't get yourself back to sleep? So I said screw it. Got up at 4 went to gym and here I am at work wondering how long till I completely fad! ughhh!

Yeah, it is a Protege after all. I replaced the rear calipers. One is already giving me issues.

seizing P5 rear calipers..noooo nevah.

yeah, bet it's the caliper...they're basically the same ones as my car. Hey I have a spare caliper and rotor here...uhhh...just needs a little TLC.

Oh Boy! Let's see....my daughter helped me change my front brake pads, Mary changed the oil in her Jeep, then we both cleaned the Jeep inside and out. Spent hours removing dog hair from back of the rear seats. Previous owner had a white dog and apparently the hair was built up under the fabric so it kept coming through. Took the seat apart as much as possible to clean.

We are always goofing.

Perhaps a little more than TLC?

Wow, I haven't thought or heard about Maynard Furgeson in AGES! He could hit the Most insane notes ever!

really? a crab? (screwy)

My P5 has been the demise of many a caliper.
3 replaced and 2 rebuilt in 4 years. :o

I also had my driver side fender liner / splash guard FLY off on the highway after my CS duct got mangled entering a parking ramp (unamused)

On the bright side, the intake sounds louder (the sound is intoxicating) and I can easily access my filter for the first time since it was installed.

Tall ships were here a few weekends ago in Hyannis harbor. We went on a tour. I'm not a big boat person, but I love and appreciate the craftsmanship. Posted pics in my Facebook.
