NEMOC Random BS Thread

hey....i bought some sea foam today in hopes to run it through my old oil before my oil change and before i put in my new plugs. ive never done it before even though im sure my uncle can help me out no problem but im going to ask anyway. where? what vaccum lines? blah blah blah. any help would be awesome. thanks.

There is a vacuum line that runs from the intake manifold underneath the topmount and ends at the firewall to the brake booster. It has a red line on it I think.

That is the one you want to use. It will provide Sea Foam to all the cylinders and clean them up nicely.

Quick pic from today.

Fun day. My bro-in-law needed a cheap car so for $550 he bought a 92 Dodge Spirit. One owner who was an old lady that past away. It has 100K miles, engine runs strong, interior is slightly dirty but no damage. The exterior is the real nasty part. As like many Chrysler products of those years, the paint suffers from poor quality and thus started to peel long ago. Then someone tried to cover it up with a can of spray paint. Big Fail! It got everywhere.

So we are in the process of repainting most of the car. Won't be a pro job, but he does not care. Hence the cheap price. In any case it's an experience.

Here are his pics.

I had a 91 Spirit LE and it was surprisingly one of the best cars in terms of reliability I have had. 300 bucks (1st car) and lasted me a while 2 years I think, and about 70,000 miles. Thing was a tank. Nothing really to say that was bad about it.

Oh yea! Almost forgot. We found this old first aid kit in the trunk. I'm guessing 1950s maybe?
