Bah, one of my rear swaybar brackets broke again. Can't really get under the car to look, but it sounds like it's the other old bracket that snapped. When I replaced them, I only replaced one and kept one of the old ones... I knew that was gonna bite me in the ass and look, here it is.

I still have the other new one, the hard part is putting that thing in.

Oleg let me know if you need help to do this. I got some tools jacks and couple of stands. Remember am really close by.

Are they simply rusted on there? I've got a grinder for that.

Nah, I just have to get under there and take out the snapped bracket, and put in the new bracket (after I enlarge the holes in it with a drill).

Should I take my speed to a non-speed dealership for repairs, other than oil changes?

My front sway bar bushings sound like they are shot and the nearest dealership is either Nashua or Shrewsbury... Think the 3year/36 bumper to bumper is up in November (originally purchased in Nov. 06.) so if I want it replaced under warranty I need to act soon.

Might have gotten lost this morning.. But what do you all think?

hey all! bit tired here...currently at a hotel in nebraska recoopurating for the night. my brother and I left LA at 3pm yesterday, drove all through the night, stopped for a couple of hours. managed to drive down the vegas strip and take pics...

crazy stuff...malibu beach, vegas, the rockies and the good ol' flat midwest...all within 24 hours.

I can even keep track of time...it's 4:46 in CA (my brother's truck has this time) it's 7:46 in new england...but it's 6:46 here, or something.

Well took the speed into the dealer today to get the front end clunks looked at. They are going to be replacing the front struts and endlinks next Saturday. Hope it fixes it. Also will let the other speed3 guys know if new struts gets rid of that ping noise over small bumps that I assumed was an okay noise... if it goes away with the new struts then I would keep an eye on yours..

we are now in pennsylvania or something...

drove from 6am central time till 1am eastern time and am currently staying at a pretty chintzy hotel...but at least they have wifi!

my brother was doing most of the driving the day before last but yesterday i drove for half the day.

started in kearney, nebraska and ended in clarion, PA

will be home sometime tonight...then i get the long task of weeding through some 2000 pictures, cell pics, twitter updates and some video diary-like stuff i've taken. hey, my brother is an actor right?

CT isn't really the end, gotta figure out how to fix the car, and do a couple papers for school...uhg...

The competition yellow is a darker colour. I prefer the sunburst or vivd yellow.

It's the lighting in that photo. Colors are always darker during sunrise and sunset.
