Sorry to hear Tony. Kids heal faster than the parents I've discovered.

Nice Oleg. Is this going to be the new winter car?

Finally got to drive Mia today after a week of sitting. Made reservations at another CG for Oct 1-15 since the CG we are in now closes Sept 30.

Looking forward to seeing people at LRP

Looks likewise we'll have a great Ohio caravan heading out to the Lime Rock Park........should be another great event! Can't wait to. seemed our entire NEMOC family of Meeps

We worked on the vette a bit today. Decided to take all the control arms off, sand em down, repaint and fit the new bushing/ball joints while they're out of the car. Only part that was installed was the pitman arm, the rest of the day we were fighting with bolts.

:/ fighting with bolts sucks. Good luck w/ the rest of it!

Some photos from the old school import show in Bridgeport CT. My first experience seeing some of these rides in person. Lots of great examples from fully original to fully modified and ready to race. The REPU came home with a trophy for Best original engine bay and 3rd place for Best Mazda "Other" (aka not a RX2, RX3 or RX7). It was a long drive in the truck but Lui from Wankel Works joined me for the ride.

Two days of LSD install work gone by. The diff is in, the preload is at the top of the spec, which I declare good enough. Rear mount was a total motherfking b**** to take out.

Tranny out:

Butchered rear mount nuts (had to dremel the bottom plastic harness stud off too):

It's refreshing to see that someone still opens up parts to work on them, rather than just direct replacement. Everyone local is afraid of any work to this extent.

oleg is afraid of nothing! ;)

morning all, great weekend! weather was awesome, bday party, trip to the cape, chillin by the pool...doesn't get a whole lot betta!

I am doing more work tonight and Thursday night. And probably Friday night :) Wednesday night is a family visit night.

BTW, Mahk, that torque wrench you got me tops out at 150, not 250 (it's the same one I have). My impact gun tops out at 230 ft/lbs, so maybe it's fine to wail on it with the impact gun to torque those axle nuts down.

Hi Everyone, Don't forget to order your Limerock tickets. The Corral and general admission are separate this year so make sure you add both to your shopping cart before checking out.

Ok guys and gals, we have pricing for LRP!!!!

http://tickets.limerock.com/eventperformances.asp?evt=10

If you get a weekend ticket it is $64.50 and a Saturday only ticket it is $53.50 We will be offering food once again and our tent as usual. So lets have a good turn out and raise some money for charity as well. We will have a thread up soon, once lauri creates a flyer for the event.

I'm about to book the hotel. Is there anything going on at the track on Sunday? Car show, or whatever? I'm trying to decide whether we should just head home Saturday night after the racing or stay another night.
