NEMOC Random BS Thread

Hi all! Things have finally calmed down a bit for me... We were without power for 6 full days, here for 3.5 of them (in AZ for the rest). Lost the fish tank and all the food in the fridge. Last week was really rough. Had no way to heat the condo but a friend of ours hooked us up with a 250,000 btu construction propane heater after dealing with 50* the first night. Worked mint. Had a generator from James' parents but we only used it for cell phones, a fan to distribute the heat, and starting the fish tank back up after cleaning it out.

Then on Sunday the 2 randomly decided to not start when we were out running errands. Turned out to be a dead fuel pump. Got it back last night. Roller coaster couple of weeks.

Beautiful day today. Probably one of the last days I'll get to open the windows in the house until the Spring. Went for a bike ride this morning (~ 5 miles of single track, 1hr 30 minutes). Irrigation guy just showed up so I'm listening to the pleasant sound of my lines being blown out. Cats are not enjoying it one bit.

hello all! sad news ... Grand-Am schedule is out for 2012 and NO LRP!!! what are we going to do? y'all will have to come to the Glen then for the 6 hours on June 30!! road trip!!! keep yourselves updated on the Mazda Corral section of the forum for future details ... hope to see you somewhere next year!!

Yes, LRP is not on the schedule, buy New Jersey is in the schedule(45 minutes from Atlantic City) and we are working to getting pricing and additional information to you guys ASAP. My goal is to have the Castrol guys come out to this event and as far as the Glen, we are looking into getting a dedicated "camping area for Mazda owners. We'll keep you guys informed, don't feel bad, we're losing out on VIR as well!

I guess Watkins Glenn will have to suffice. I think Amanda is out of school by then so we might be able to make it. I'd love to do a parade lap on that track!

I am not sure why, I know that I expressed concerns about pricing and the track owner is not the easiest person to deal with. I will find out and let you all know. We're planing to roll out the Castrol corral @ New jersey. We'll keep you all in the loop!

So, I look at the good side of this.. Now I can make it to 24hr Daytona, VIR, Mid-O, Birmingham, and maybe Homestead and/or Indianapolis next year.
