need some help?

So i was driving on the highway last night going to work. i was going about 70 when all of a sudden my car started feeling weird not accelerating at all and then i started seeing smoke coming out the engine bay so i pulled to the shoulder and all i see is all my oil on the floor.

This morning i took it to my mechanic and they found two holes on the bottom block.does anyone know what could have caused this?

i hear some people say oil starvation and other you could of throen a rod bearing?

going to ask the same questions i asked the above poster - what do you have done to the car, how much boost does it peak at, how many miles are on it, etc.

and it has 61,000 miles
