Need opinions on a product/kit

Don't want to leave because the MSP needs support from people with a clue :).. At the same time, it sucks spending time screwing with all this, saving and copying part numbers, etc to offer it to others only for people to say s*** like that... I have been in so many arguments with my fiancee over the time spent researching s*** for this car and looking over wiring diagrams and stuff for other projects down the road- HELL- it is 3:55 am and I am here dealing with this s*** instead of lying in bed with her right now.. **** this.... And these pricks have to have that break my balls for trying to help???? I am sorry for beign rude, but christ, I can easily say **** you and just worry about my own car and not even give a second thought to what parts went in where because I have the "screw it, it worked" attitude instead of the "that worked great, where is the package so I can save the part # for these guys?".. I can easily give the part numbers, and let you guys hunt around for the parts, but I thought if would be easier for someone else to do the leg work.. I could also easily say screw this, let them figure it out for themselves... Actually, I already did in the last reply :).. Damn..

damn joe, thats pretty hardcore. i give you maaaddd props. you are one dedicated person. without ppl like you we would be crap. but honestly, my opinion, don't put your personal life on the back burner for us (its cool that you do, but don't take it too far). for 99.9% of us, this tuning thing is a hobby. so chillax, some of the best things in life only come once.

True- but I still enjoy tuning and playing with my own car too :).. It is the keeping track of what I do to it that I do for you guys (that and the 4am bickering :) )....

Well, I also do it for nights like tonight- got to run my friends WRX tonight- pulled him pretty decent from a roll so he wanted to go from a stop- we found a fairly dry section of road (been raining like crazy) and went at it. He killed me out of the hole, I caught him around the 1/8 mile point and had him by almost 3 cars by the end of the 1/4 :).. He just ran a 14.5 at the track (he is stock).. It was great :).. This is the potential these cars have, if people would only open their eyes :).. The most $$$ I have into my car is the exhaust but I really only did it right now because it was more of a test and I also did it so I could send my stock exhaust to my exhaust guy to make a jig to produce MSP exhaust systems :).. It did help a bit up top though..
Joe
PS- If anyone is in the Albany area, shoot me an email- kwiktsi@nycap.rr.com I want to hook up sometime. Hell, I'll even let you romp on the MSP to get your opinions :)...

i wish i could drive your car. its cool that you see the potential in these cars. i only wish i had the money to exploit it. ever since buying the car, i have gone out less, eaten out less, bought less gifts, just spent less in general. oh well when i get another job i'll start modding serious like. i've yet to race my friend's scooby. he is planning on a vishnu stage one or txs u-tec. then that car gets scarry. hows the exhaust coming anyways? and does it include a downpipe?

That's the beauty of turbo cars- most of the tuning doesn't cost much if anything.. Throw in an MBC and spend some time tuning what you have- colder plugs, pulling fuel, etc.... When you just throw a bunch of $$$ into mods without tuning to the max as you go along, you end up with a mega dollar untuned car that is slower than a well tuned stock car :)..

lemme know i'd be interested as long as if mazda does create a fix it wont interfer with that. yanno.

*IF* Mazda ever does an ECU flash to fix the over rich condition, it may be too lean then- but all you have to do is reconnect the regulator how it came stock and you'll be all set. It will take like 2 minutes to pull it out.

See, that's why I just bought a WideBand. I wanna know what's up.

Yeah I wish...I might as well ask em for an Evo while I'm at it..:D

Afaceinthecrowd: Yes the exhaust Marco is jigging up includes the downpipe, but is not part of the price listed on magnusmotorsports.com website.
Oh, if anyone else is interested in the exhaust, Marco is having three made at this point for to be sold at a later date.

Joe
PS- Oh yeah- I spoke with my exhaust guy there- he said he got one email from you or something, replied and didn't hear back? he also said he thinks you know his brother (didn't get a name) and he would try to catch you at some hangout spot sometime..

Well I live in tampa, Fl and BlackMSPprotege and I are in the process of getting some stuff toghter... I would be really interested in purchasing the exhaust as well as your product Joe. So keep me informed guys. Chris

how much gain you think we'll see from this exhaust from magnus motorsports? and the DP is included in the price, he just doesn't have it listed on the site?
