AAAAHHHH!!!!!
:
Mazda MP3, Laser Blue Mica
Ok well I had one of my tires die out on me, stupid nail... anyway I'm in the market for some new ones, just need some suggustions. I'm on a college budget so just need some suggustions for good tires at a low price. Ya I know I get what I paid for. Anyway I was running on the Parada Spec2s for a while. Another thing too, I live in northern washington so I get a mix of all weather types. So The ones I've been thinking are the Perelli P-Zero Nero and the Kumho ASTs. Any others?

another than the Stock Dunlop S9000, I used the following....

Yokohama AVS ES100....nice thread, haven't use too long since one is flated...and too expensive to replace it.

Toyo Proxes 4...used for a year...fair price....thread last long.

Kumho 712 Ecsta....still using it now....good price/value...a bit noisy...thread last long....still look brand new after 8000KM..

What size? If you're on a budget, score a set of 16's off of an ES from a junkyard or something and pick up a set of Kumho 711's. Decent street tires in a 205/50/16 application and only $45 a piece.

any 5x114.3 wheel with a +45 offset will do you though. Which includes RX7 wheels, millenia wheels, 929's, 5 bolt Honda wheels, etc.

If you've got the OE racing harts, the cheapest Tire Rack has tires for that size is like $68/each. Kumho SPT. Not as good a tire IMO considering price.

I love my Yokohamas but if you are looking for even more of a value-priced tire
I'd recommend the Kumho (slightly less) or the Hankook (even cheaper).

you know you can't go cheap on tires, they are one of the most important part of the car!!!! i like the nitto neo-gen, quietest tire i've ever had and i use them year round cuz they are on my 18" and my oem rims. plus if you want to lower the car they are made for bad cambers to wear evenly.

I have the pirrelli p zeo nero tires and they are great. I got them off tirerack.com. I bought them for my summer tires. I had them for two years. Usually have them on from april-novemeber. Put alot of miles on them and they held up great. Dry and wet traction is great. I even used them in very light snow and traction was good. I say go with those. I won't switch to any other tire.

Of course they are the most important thing on the car, but when you got college tuition breathing down your neck, it's kinda hard. Anyway of course i'm not going to get your everyday $65 cheap tires. Hence, something "REASONABLE" 80-120 per tire. Besides I don't plan on doing that much agressive driving, only once in awhile.

I currently have Nankang Ultra Sport NS-II tires, they are decent, but no where near as good as the tires I had on my sentra...Yokohama Parada Spec-2 those things were good on wet or dry roads(just not big puddles, but then again not too many tires are)...tread wear is decent and had a tolerable amount of road noise..The nankang are decent like i stated before, but they almost seem too hard of a compound and break free under really hard cornering, where the Yokohamas did not. Hope that helps a bit
