The flash on our camers can't project that much light, they are mainly ment for close objects, indoor highlights, and in daytime can be used to brighten the face of someone wearing a hat..
For all of the pics you need a tripod. no way of getting around it . especially the night shot with the flash ,, you should have used a tripod and turned the flash off.. told em all to keep still and don't frigin move ... you must do what you have to do to get the shot... Honestly I don't even thing you would have gotten that great a shot if you even tried to use (A) apperature value..
Which cam do you have again . let me back track and look it up on dpreview and see what features you have... But bro definetly get a tripod ,,,...
For the earlier pic , you needed a mini tripod .. that would have been great, that way you could have angled the shots a bit better and crop out some of the concrete ... but otherwise. they look sweet to me ....
My dad used to make me shoot in (M)anual mode all the time , lol . So I learned quite a bit like that .....
