Just wondering what rotors I should go with. I wanted to see what everbody else has and where the cheapest place to get them. I want something that will last and not eat up my pads. All nput is greatly appreciated!

Any auto parts store can get you rotors. If they can't pull up a Mazdaspeed, 02 626 V6 rotors will work.

Does the msp use the 626 v6 rotors on the front or back or both?

Front only, sorry. I believe the rears are the same as the Mazda 6.

so

Front= 2001 626 v6 rotors
Rear= mazda 6 rotors?

This makes getting rotors much easier.

Thanks

I need something better than stock, I was hoping to find a good deal on some high performance ones. Also wanted to hear the experiences of other members on there trials.

What kind of deal can I get for front Rotors and pads if I got them from you?
Captain?

Thats a greal deal, but I cant afford all of them my friend. Thanks for the offer thou.

Well from what Ive read and learned from both forum members and manufactures it that you have a few ways to do this.

The rotor that will give you the best braking performance is the slotted rotor. The cross drilled rotor is better for wet weather driving but if you dont get the good quality brand you stand the chance for them to develop cracks. So if you want the best of both worlds, great looks and great stopping then go D/S but get brembos. If you do this DO NOT get the high dollar pads! These are very abrasive and will one, eat your rotors or two eat the pads. If you go with the D/S rotors the stock pads will work fine.

NOW so that I dont look like Im one sided. If you dont want to spend the 200-300 for D/S rotors and new pads just get the stock rotors and a good quality pad.

We went over this for the last 2 weeks. I feel the cheapest way to get good stopping power is to just buy high quality pads and stock rotors.

So it depends on your pocket book and you taste.

i have rotora D/S and Axxis pads. frikken badass!!! where i get my car worked on the guy asked me what i did to the breaks because when he went for the test drive and hit the brakes he wasn't ready and jerked him forward. I laughed. he said most get the rotors with stock pads and that sux. I did the whole deal. rotors, pads and SS brake lines. The car stops on a dime. frikken awesome!

I have had them on for over 30K miles and i still have 3/4th of my pads left
