found a bit that tears the hell out of the aluminum for my dremel , but i was wondering if i can get away without touching the top half of the im. i really dont even want to touch that part lol
Completed and installed turns out its a 626 mani and it was revving to 3k without any gas and saying it had 10 vacuum . Total waste of 3 days idk what I did wrong
http://s1261.photobucket.com/albums/ii600/pbarton14/ heres the newest update and as of tomorrow ll be taking it off and selling it for 50 bucks to whoever wants to do it and thinks they can do it the right way
Yes as long as they come with a 2.0 FSDE in them. I don't know about the 1.8's though. I recently swapped over the entire IM from my MSP to my P5 including the EGR Pipe. Everything is the same. I have a 626 Manifold for the MSP including the 626 EGR pipe as to why I swapped it over.
Ahh perfect , I was just thinking that it was pointless to clean the egr when I did if the valve wasn't even going to see much exhaust anyway . I have been getting bad gas milage too, about 220 to the tank
I doubt you did anything wrong per se. The 3k rpm idle has to be due to your throttle or IAC. I am pretty sure a vacuum leak that big would cause the engine to stall.
Since you are running at 3k rpms steady, -10 psi may be about right. I wouldn't give up on that manifold after putting all that work into it. Being a JDM or 626 isn't what is causing the 3k idle.
I wouldn't mind taking it off your hands for $50 though.
